Samsung today unveiled a new variant of the well-known foldable Galaxy Z Flip model. The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G differs from the original with few, but important elements.
We will start with the differences, because they are the most important in the whole message. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G received the Snapdragon 865+ processor in place of the 855+ model. Another change that distinguishes the new model from the previous one - apart from the 5G modem, of course - is the new colour variant. This is an effective Mystic Bronze, which we also expect in the new Notes and Fold.
The rest of the specifications and styling are the same as in the previous model. So we have two screens - an auxiliary 1.1" outside and a flexible, 6.7-inch FHD+ on the inside of the clamshell. The smartphone is also equipped with 8+256 GB memory and two 12-megapixel cameras on the back and a 10-megapixel camera for selfie.
Samsung priced the new model at $ 1,449, so the price is slightly higher than the LTE version, which may now be slightly lower.
