Oppo today presented global variants of the Reno 4 and Oppo Reno 4 Pro models, previously known from the Chinese market. However, it is worth noting that, despite the affinity of the names, the world versions of smartphones differ from the originals.
Oppo Reno 4
Oppo Reno 4, which (perhaps) will go to Europe, has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a binocular hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an auxiliary matrix to blur the background. The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 720G chip, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. The smartphone allows you to expand the memory with a microSD card, without having to give up DualSIM - the slot is triple. The power supply is provided by a battery with a capacity of 4015 mAh, with fast charging VOOC 4.0 30 W. The main camera has a basic 48 Mpx module and an 8 Mpx wide-angle, and the set includes two 2-megapixels for macro and background effects. The phone is currently available in Thailand for 11,990 baht, or approximately $ 385.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro
Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a much better chance of reaching the European market. It is a smartphone equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, with Full HD+ resolution, 1100 nits brightness and 90 Hz image refresh rate. The display has a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera. On the back we find a camera with 48, 8 and 2x2 Mpx matrices. The first of the additional modules takes wide-angle photos, the next macro, and the last one is monochrome and dedicated to portraits. Both cameras - front and rear - have dedicated night modes and Ultra-stabilization. The heart of smartphones is the Snapdragon 720G chip with additional cooling and 8 GB RAM. Internal memory can be selected: 128 or 256 GB. The power supply is provided by a 4000 mAh battery with SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging with a capacity of 65 W. For now, we only know the price of the 8+128 GB version for the Indian market. It amounts to 34,990 rupees, or $ 468.
The Oppo Watch also has its global edition. It is a bit too much like its competitor from Apple, but it can operate either with a full WearOS system or with an energy-saving, truncated own interface (DualBoot option). The Oppo watch has two sizes - 41 and 46 mm - and OLED screens with diagonals and resolutions respectively: 1.6", 320 x 360 px and 1.91", 402 x 476 px. The larger model has a metal casing, the smaller one - made of plastic. The battery capacity is 300 or 430 mAh, and working times are 24-36 hours in Wear OS mode or 14-21 days in Power Saver mode. Additionally, the larger model may be available with LTE - but with an eSIM card. The prices are 14,990 and 19,990 rupees, which is 200-267 USD.
