Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro with fast screens

Xiaomi introduces new models of its Black Shark gaming sub-brand. Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro aren't overly expensive, but they have strong specs and screens with impressive image refreshment.

In both models we find batteries with a capacity of 4500 mAh with super fast charging with a power of up to 120 W and identical AMOLED displays with 6.67-inch diagonals and Full HD+ resolutions. The screens have a refresh rate of 144 Hz and touch panels with a refresh rate of up to 720 Hz. In addition, the displays cover 111% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and have a brightness of up to 1,300 nits. Both models also have DualSIM, NFC, stereo speakers and additional game keys and fingerprint readers on the sides of the housings.

Black Shark 4

Xiaomi Black Shark 4 uses the Snapdragon 870 processor, combined with LPDDR5 5500 MHz and UFS3.1 memories. The smartphone also received a triple camera with a main matrix of 48 megapixels (f/1.79) and a 5 Mpx f/2.4 module for macro from a distance of just 2 cm. The third camera, in turn, has 8 megapixels and a wide-angle f/2.2 lens with a field of view of 120 degrees. A 20 Mpx camera with f/2.0 aperture is responsible for the selfie.

Black Shark 4 Pro

Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Prohas a Snapdragon 888 processor and LPDDR5 6400 MHz RAM. The data memory was solved in an interesting way by combining the UFS3.1 flash carrier with the SSD. In Black Shark 4 Pro we find a photographic set slightly changed compared to the base model. In the selfie camera we have a weaker aperture - f/2.45 - but on the back we get a better 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.79 optics. The other two cameras - wide-angle and macro - are the same as in Black Shark 4.
