A new Oppo A55 4G model has appeared in India, a relative (though distant) of the already known Oppo A55.
Oppo A55 4G received a slightly unusual set of cameras. A powerful 50 Mpx (F/1.8) unit has been supplemented with two only 2-megapixels for macro and background blurring. The lack of 5G support in a smartphone of this class is also unusual, but it is easier to explain - it may be a model with a lower price, for markets where 5G does not work yet or offers little coverage of the country in its range.
Oppo A55 4G also received a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a hole for a 16-megapixel selfie camera, as well as a 5000 mAh battery, but with only 10-watt charging. The device also does not have NFC, which is not a necessity in Asia. The heart of the phone is the MediaTek Helio G35 chip, supported by 4 or 6 GB LPDDR4X operating memory and 64 or 128 GB internal memory. As you can see, the differences between Oppo A55 4G and Oppo A55 5G are significant - and it's not just about a different processor. Others are also, among others dimensions or cameras. The prices of the 4G version - depending on the selected memory (4+64 or 6+128 GB) are 15490 or 17490 rupees, i.e. 209-236 USD.
