Huawei today introduced a new smartphone to the European market: Huawei Nova 9. Let's get to know its capabilities and price closer!

Huawei Nova 9 is a neat smartphone with a 6.57-inch OLED screen with rounded edges, Full HD+ resolution and an image refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The software features extensive eye protection options, and under the screen - a fingerprint reader. The smartphone uses the Snapdragon 778G processor, but unfortunately without support for 5G, which is of course "due" to American sanctions, not the producer's savings. Similarly, we owe the American policy the lack of Google services, but the alternative solutions proposed by Huawei mean that we do not feel this lack too much. The smartphone - in the version for Europe - received the EMUI interface, which is a readable and intuitive overlay.

The power supply is provided by a 4300 mAh battery with a 66 W fast charging system. Photos are provided by: a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a quad rear camera with a main 50-megapixel matrix and a lens with an f/1.9 aperture. Huawei used a large-size matrix, working in the RYYB system, with software supported by artificial intelligence. The basic camera is supported by two 2-megapixel cameras for macro and background blurring and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone is offered with a memory kit of 8+128 GB. Until November 11, the smartphone can be ordered in a set with Huawei FreeBuds 4 wireless headphones, at the recommended retail price of 499 EUR. Together with the Nova 9 smartphone, the company also presented the Huawei Nova 8i model, which will also be available in an attractive pre-sale offer until November 11, in a set with Huawei FreeBuds 4i wireless headphones. The recommended retail price of nova 8i is 349 EUR. Additionally, customers who pre-order nova 9 or nova 8i will receive free twelve months of screen protection. To take advantage of this promotion, the customer must have a Huawei ID account registered before October 21. Huawei Nova 8i is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, powered by a battery with a capacity of 4300 mAh, with 66 W charging. The smartphone also received a TFT display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and Full HD+ resolution and a camera with four matrices: 64 Mpx (f /1.9), 8 Mpx (wide angle 120 degrees f/2.4) and 2x2 Mpx, for macro and background blurring - also with f/2.4 apertures.

Huawei also presented new accessories: the new Watch GT 3 smartwatch and the luxurious edition of the FreeBuds Lipstick wireless headphones, which are distinguished by a red colour, and have been packed in a unique, elegant lipstick-shaped case, which also serves as a charger. Inside the case there are elegant red earphones. FreeBuds Lipstick is compatible with smartphones of various brands, operating on the basis of Android or iOS.

The watch face of the Huawei Watch GT 3, like the dials of other smartwatches in the series, is covered with high-quality glass and has curved edges. The battery in the Watch GT 3 lasts up to 2 weeks on a single charge, and just 10 minutes of wireless charging allows you to recharge the battery up to 20%. Thanks to the use of a protective nano-coating, the display is resistant to scratches and fingerprints. The smartwatch will be available in two variants: 46 mm (Active, Classic and Elite) and 42 mm (Active and Elite). Huawei Watch GT 3 supports 100 sports modes, including 19 professional disciplines, 12 types of outdoor activities and 7 indoor workouts. The device records key data such as training duration, calories burned, heart rate, exercise progress and recovery time. The device also supports the improved TruSeen 4.5 technology with 24/7 monitoring of pulse and blood oxygenation SpO2, as well as the ability to measure the level of stress and sleep quality. Watch GT 3 is equipped with eight sensors, thanks to which the user receives an even more accurate heart rate measurement compared to the previous generation of the device. The new Huawei smartwatch also brings a new look to the display interface - the application menu is based on a checkerboard theme, making reading information simple and convenient. The device is also equipped with a rotating crown, which allows for quick and comfortable operation. We'll find out later about the availability of the Watch GT 3 and FreeBuds Lipstic. Watch GT 3 (46mm) wil cost 349 EUR and (42mm) 329 EUR. FreeBuds Lipstic price will be 249 EUR.
