Huawei today unveiled its foldable smartphone P50 Pocket. This is the company's first model built in the form of a flap with a flexible screen. What's the specification?
As expected, Huawei P50 Pocket turned out to be a stylish, small device. When folded, the dimensions are 87.3x75.5x15.2 mm, and when unfolded, the dimensions are 170x75.5x15.2 mm - and the weight is 190 g. no. This was achieved thanks to a new design hinge (similar to Oppo Find N 5G) and there is a good chance that in the place where the screen bends, there will be no kink or too large fold.

The foldable OLED screen has a diagonal of 6.9 inches, Full HD+ resolution (442 ppi) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The touch panel is refreshed at a frequency of 300 Hz. On the outer side of the case, the smartphone has an auxiliary OLED screen with a diameter of an inch and a resolution of 320x320 px (328 ppi). It shows notifications, clock, weather, can be used to handle calls or control media playback. It also allows you to frame a selfie, and when it expires - becomes a mirror.

Next to the additional screen, a triple camera is mounted in the second of the round frames. It is made up of modules:

The heart of the smartphone is the top Snapdragon 888, and the power supply is provided by a 4000 mAh battery, charging with a power of 40 W. The equipment is completed, among others, by NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, side fingerprint reader, NM memory card slot as well as a guarantee of free battery replacement when its performance drops. Everything is controlled by the HarmonyOS 2 system, based on Android. Unfortunately, the smartphone does not contain 5G and the Google package - but as you know - this is not the manufacturer's fault. The smartphone is offered in two memory combinations, three colors and two prices:
- 8 + 256 GB (white or black) - 8,988 yuan, $ 1,415
- Premium Edition 12 + 512 GB (gold) - 10988 yuan, $ 1725
