Honor today officially presented its first foldable smartphone. How does Honor Magic V ultimately show itself?
Honor Magic V took the traditional form of a "book", with a flexible display folded into the housing. After folding, the halves of the housing fit tightly together, and the whole is 14.3 mm thick. Both displays are made in OLED technology. The smaller, external one, has a diagonal of 6.45 inches, a resolution of 1080 x 2560 pixels and - which is somewhat surprising - the refresh rate of 120 Hz. The larger, flexible display, for a change, has an image refresh rate of 90 Hz, and in addition - a 7.9 inch diagonal and a resolution of 2272 x 1984 px.

The heart of Magic V is the Snapdragon 8 Gen. 1 processor, controlled by the Android 12 operating system and supported by LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory. The device powers a two-piece battery with a total capacity of 4750 mAh, along with a fast charging system with a power of 66 W. The phone supports 5G networks, of course, but there is no minijack or microSD slot in it. In the role of the system, we see Android 12 with the Magic UI 6.0 interface.

Honor Magic V has at the back three 50-megapixel cameras. The main one has an aperture of f/1.9, wide-angle - f/2.2 and a field of view of 120 degrees, while the third camera (f/2.0) records the image in an extended colour spectrum, capturing details that escape the human eye. The selfie is taken care of by two 42-megapixel cameras hidden in the holes of both displays. The multimedia set is completed with stereo speakers with DTS.
