Huawei announces the European debut of its latest flagships, i.e. the photographic Huawei P50 Pro and the foldable Huawei P50 Pocket. It's time to get to know their prices and recall the specifications.
Huawei P50 Pro
Huawei P50 Pro is a charmingly shiny smartphone, equipped with a 6.6-inch OLED display, refreshing the image at a frequency of 120 Hz, and a touch panel - 300 Hz. The screen has a slightly unusual, but high resolution, 2700 x 1228 pixels, as well as curved edges and a palette of over a billion colours. The smartphone uses the powerful Snapdragon 888 processor, but unfortunately in a trimmed version of the 5G modem. Of course - this is not a matter of the producer's savings, but of American sanctions. The system is supported by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB flash memory. The second memory can be expanded with a card developed by Huawei's NM standard - by 256 GB. The Huawei P50 continues the traditions of its predecessors and has a great set of cameras. The main one has 50 megapixels and f/1.8 aperture and optical OIS stabilization, while the wide-angle one has 13 megapixels and f/2.2 aperture. Invariably, the OIS can also be found in a camera with a periscope telephoto lens with f/3.5 aperture, which provides a 3.5x lossless zoom and a digital zoom up to 100x. This module has 64 megapixels. For this, we also have a 40-megapixel black and white portrait camera with a great f/1.6 aperture. Selfie is provided by a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture and 4K filming. The power supply is provided by a battery with a capacity of 4360 mAh with fast 66 W charging. There is also, of course, 50-watt wireless charging, with the option of reverse charging. The equipment is neatly completed by stereo speakers. The housing - offered in two colours, black and gold - is IP68-certified. Huawei P50 is offered at a price of 1199 euros. It is worth adding that recently Huawei made it possible to use contactless payments using the Curve application.

Huawei P50 Pocket
Huawei P50 Pocket is an extremely feminine, stylish and shapely toddler. When folded, it has the dimensions of 87.3x75.5x15.2 mm, and when unfolded, the dimensions are 170x75.5x7.2 mm - and the weight is 190 g. adhere to each other, therefore, unwanted foreign bodies are unlikely to get between them. Thanks to the hinge with a new design, it was also possible to prevent the bend of the screen from being too large. The larger, flexible OLED screen has a diagonal of 6.9 inches, Full HD+ resolution (442 ppi) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The touch panel is refreshed at a frequency of 300 Hz. On the outer side of the smartphone's housing there is a second, auxiliary, round OLED screen with an inch diameter and a resolution of 320x320 px (328 ppi). It provides the presentation of notifications or a watch, it can also be used to handle calls or framing selfies with the rear camera. This camera has a main matrix of 40 Mpx (f/1.8), as well as a wide-angle 13 Mpx module (f/2.2) and an interesting Ultra Spectrum camera that allows you to capture more colours and details. The camera is complemented by a triple LED - with warm, cold and UV light, which allows you to take fluorescent photos, and of course there is also a 10-megapixel selfie camera. Huawei P50 Pocket, like Huawei P50, uses Snapdragon 888, and draws energy from a 4000 mAh battery, charging with 40 W. As an interface, we will invariably see HarmonyOS 2. The price of this remarkable smartphone is 1299 euro.
