Oppo has increased its offer in the budget segment. What does the simple Oppo A16e offer?
Oppo A16e is a typical example of a smartphone from the lowest price range. It offers only what is most necessary to the least demanding users. The smartphone has a plastic housing available in three colors and a 6.52-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a typical refresh rate - 60 Hz. The screen is covered by a glass with Gorilla Glass 3. The heart of the smartphone is the Mediatek Helio P22 processor, combined with LPDDR4X and eMMC 5.1 memory, offered in 3+32 and 4+64 GB sets. The memory for files can be enlarged with a microSD card.
The power supply is provided by a 4230 mAh battery, without quick charging, but with a charger included. The smartphone has a 5-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.4) and a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture and a frame that "pretends" to be a triple camera. There is no fingerprint reader, so the only biometric security is a simple face recognition system. On the list of equipment, we will also see a minijack and an old-fashioned microUSB port. The system is also not the latest, because it is Android 11 with the ColorOS 11.1 overlay. The price has not been announced yet, but it certainly cannot be high.
