Although we are still a few days away from the launch of the folded Vivo X Fold, the almost full, though unofficial, specification of this smartphone is already circulating on the web. So what will the first Vivo folder offer?
According to information from the gossip website EqualLeaks, the top Vivo model will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, which will be accompanied by LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory. We expect media with a capacity of at least 12 GB in the case of RAM and 256 GB in the case of internal memory. However, the above elements were quite predictable - it's time to take a look at the less obvious ones. Vivo X Fold will receive a quad camera, with the main sensor GN5 with a resolution of 50 Mpx and optical image stabilization OIS. The next camera - wide-angle (114 degrees) - will have a 48 Mpx matrix, and the third one will get a 12 Mpx matrix and a 2x lossless telephoto lens. Its domain will be portrait photos, and the last camera with a periscope telephoto lens, approximating 5x, will be delegated for greater zooms. In this case, a 60 Mpx matrix and optical OIS stabilization will be used.

Due to the construction of the folding box, we didn’t expect a too large battery - or rather batteries, because for a better balance of the housing, the battery will probably be divided into two unequal parts. The total capacity of the cells will reach the bearable 4600 mAh, and an important advantage will be fast charging: wired 66 W and induction 50 W. The phone will hit the market with the Android 12 system and the OriginOS Ocean interface. Wi-Fi 6 and NFC. In the case of a folded smartphone, the displays are the most interesting. The external one will receive bent sides and the AMOLED E5 matrix, refreshing the image with a frequency of up to 120 Hz. This screen will have a diagonal of 6.53 inches and Full HD+ resolution. The internal, folded screen will also be the AMOLED E5 matrix, again with a 120 Hz refresh rate, but already with a diagonal of 8 inches, with 2K resolution and LTPO 3.0 technology as well as Ultra Thin Glass coating and HDR support. There are rumors that the Vivo X Fold screen won’t have a visible break where it folds. Unfortunately, the smartphone won’t be the cheapest...
