The Realme 9 family has grown with another model. The Realme 9 4G model debuted in India, which - which is a bit surprising - received a better camera than the 5G version we already knew.
Realme 9 4G doesn't have much in common with the 5G model, although the name has them in common. The newly presented model has a different styling and a more interesting, 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refreshing (the 5G model has a TFT screen). The display has a touch panel refreshed with a frequency of 360 Hz and an integrated fingerprint reader (with the option of measuring the pulse!), And the peak brightness of the matrix reaches 1000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Obviously, another processor was also used - Snapdragon 680 - combined with LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memories. The 4G model uses a 5000 mAh battery, but with a significantly faster 33-watt charging than in the 5G version.

Realme 9 4G also has a more interesting set of cameras than the cousin it shares the name with. In the model from Inii we find a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 108-megapixel main rear camera. An 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera are also mounted on the back. The smartphone uses the Android 12 operating system with the Realme UI 3.0 interface. The equipment is completed by, among others a minijack slot, 5 GB of virtual RAM or a triple slot for microSD cards and two nanoSIMs. The smartphone will cost 18 thousand rupees in the 6+128 GB version and 19 thousand rupees for the 8+128 GB model. Initially, the prices will be 2,000 rupees lower. After conversion, the regular prices will be $ 237-250. For comparison, Realme 9 5G costs 15 and 18 thousand in India. rupees, or $ 200 and $ 230. This is a rare case where the 4G model turns out to be more expensive but better equipped than the 5G version...
