OnePlus Ace makes its debut in China

OnePlus today presented a smartphone in its groundbreaking way. What is it about OnePlus Ace?

OnePlus Ace compared to other OnePluses, is distinguished not only by its name. It also has quite an original styling, with the back interspersed with an asymmetrical pattern, which is a visual "extension" of the almost square camera frame. In the specification, it is worth highlighting the new MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX processor with a unique microcrystalline graphite cooling system used here for the first time. The processor supports 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal UFS 3.1 memory.

OnePlus Ace also received a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a brightness of up to 950 nits, Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a touch of 720 Hz. There is a hole in the screen for a 16-megapixel selfie camera S5K3P9 with an f/2.4 aperture, and a fingerprint reader is mounted under the screen. The rear camera uses the main Sony IMX766 matrix (50 Mpx) with OIS Optical Image Stabilization and f/1.88 aperture. Next to it there is also an 8 Mpx IMX355 wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a field of view of 119.7 degrees, and the set is completed by a 2-megapixel macro camera (GC02M1, f/2.4).

The battery is powered by a 4500 mAh battery with a 150 W fast charging system, which will fill the battery in 17 minutes. The smartphone features the MCU technology known from Oppo, ensuring high battery life, which, despite fast charging, is to retain 80% of its capacity even after 1600 cycles.
