Today, the Google I/O conference was held, during which the new Pixel 6a smartphone was presented, and more Pixel 7 and 7 Pro smartphones, the Pixel Watch smartwatch and... Pixel Tablet were announced.
Google Pixel 6a received a 6.1-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The heart of the smartphone is the Google Tensor processor, supported by an additional security chip Titan M2, 6 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. The role of the main camera is played by a 12-megapixel matrix cooperating with an optically stabilized lens with f/1.7 aperture. Next to it is another 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera f/2.0. The equipment is completed with stereo speakers, an under-screen fingerprint reader and Android 12 with the promise of 5-year support with security fixes. In terms of styling, the "budget" Pixel 6a resembles two more expensive models, but has a plastic back cover, and a Gorilla Glass 3 front. In addition, it has a slightly lower degree of tightness - IP67. The power supply is provided by a 4410 mAh battery with 18-watt charging. The smartphone will be offered for $ 449.
