Gaming novelties: Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro

Nubia, a brand associated with ZTE, presented the new Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro gaming smartphones. How are they equipped and how much do they cost?

Red Magic 7S

The basic model, Nubia Red Magic 7S, can be safely considered a flagship. It has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory, and in addition, you can "borrow" 6 GB from the internal memory for RAM. The processor was retrofitted with a sophisticated cooling system, including heat sinks made of graphene and rare earth metals, as well as a fan spinning at a speed of 20,000 rpm. The smartphone also has a high-class AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.8 inches, Full HD+ resolution and an image refresh rate adjustable in the range of 60-165 Hz. A fingerprint reader with the option of measuring the pulse is hidden under the screen. The device powers a 4500 mAh battery with 120 W charging. The rear camera is triple, with a main matrix of 64 Mpx, a wide-angle 8 Mpx module and 2 Mpx for macro. There is also stereo and mini-jack speakers. Red Magic 7S Pro

The version positioned higher, Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro, also has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory, but it also has a Red Core No. 1, i.e. a coprocessor supporting the handling of complex graphics in games. Also here we find extensive cooling with a high-speed fan, as well as a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with 120 Hz image refresh and 960 Hz touch. The sub-screen selfie camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels, while the rear, invariably, has 64+8+2 Mpx matrices. The power supply is entrusted to a two-piece 5000 mAh battery with a 135 W charging system. Similarly to the base model, the Pro also has a mini-jack and stereo speakers, and also works on Android 12 with the Red Magic OS 5.5 interface.
