The Indian branch of Samsung introduced two new models from the Galaxy M series. Samsung Galaxy M13 appeared in two different varieties: 4G and 5G.
Samsung Galaxy M13 4G (which can also simply be called Galaxy M13) and Samsung Galaxy M13 5G are probably connected only by the name. Smartphones have a slightly similar appearance, but completely different specifications, and the 4G model seems to be more attractive probably in every respect - except for 5G support.

Samsung Galaxy M13 received a 6.6-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and 480 nits brightness, with Gorilla Glass 5 glass and a droplet notch for an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera is triple, with the main matrix 50 Mpx, wide-angle (123 degrees) 5 Mpx module and 2 Mpx for blurring the background. The heart of the phone is the Exynos 850 processor built in 8 nm lithography, working with ARM Mali G52 graphics and powered by a 6000 mAh battery with (unfortunately) a 15-watt charging system. The housing with dimensions of 165.4x76.9x9.3 mm is available in green, blue and brown, and the entire smartphone weighs 207 g. Prices start at the equivalent of $ 149 for the base 4+64 GB variant.

Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is smaller, 6.5-inch, and in addition has a display with only HD+ resolution, but with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by an older generation glass - Gorilla Glass 3 - and the brightness drops to 400 nits. The selfie camera is in the notch again - but it is worse than in the 4G version, because it is only 5-megapixel. On the back, the camera is also poorer - it has only a 50+2 Mpx matrix set, so there is no wide-angle module. The heart of the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, which is probably the only advantage over the cheaper LTE model. This model can also have more RAM - up to 12 GB, including, of course, virtual memory. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and invariably loads with a power of 15 W. Both models described work in Android 12 with the One UI Core 4 interface The 5G version measures 164.5 x 76.5 x 8.8 mm and weighs 195 g. Prices start at $ 175 (for 6+64 GB).
