The impressive Nubia Z40S Pro enters the Chinese market

Nubia, owned by ZTE, presented its new flagship in China, Nubia Z40S Pro. The smartphone has top specification and lots of versions.

Nubia Z40S Pro is a full-blooded flagship. It has top-shelf components, but also an interesting appearance with an extensive camera frame, and intimidating the number of versions in which it appears. And it's not just about memory variants or housing colours...

ZTE Nubia Z40S Pro has the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, supported by LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory, and cooled by a 10-layer heatsink with an area of 38387 sq. M. The display is also great. It is AMOLED, has a diagonal of 6.67 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a brightness of 1000 nits. The touch panel, in turn, has a refresh rate of 480 Hz. There is a fingerprint reader under the screen, and in the matrix hole we will see a 16-megapixel camera (OmniVision OV16A1Q) for selfie. The rear camera received three matrices. The main module is a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 with OIS optical stabilization, and the wide-angle one is a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 matrix with a lens with a field of view of 116 degrees. The last camera, in turn, has an 8-megapixel Hynix hi847 matrix with optical stabilization and a periscope telephoto lens with a lossless approximation of 5x. The smartphone also has stereo speakers and X-axis vibration. All this is closed in a housing with a thickness of 8.05 mm, available in two standard colors, and a limited edition of Ling Cage, reminiscent of the Red Magic gaming series.

Nubia Z40S Pro has - as you already know - three colour versions, but the battery can have two variants. It can be a 4600 mAh battery with 120 watt charging (20 min filling) or 5000 mAh, but with a slower 80 watt charge. The price list and memory variants are as follows:
