Perhaps some of you remember the Japanese brand Aiwa...? The company was known to us, among others from the production of quite good VCRs and TV sets, as well as from radio tape recorders. Now - it is trying its hand at the mobile market. What does it offer?
Those who counted on fancy equipment will be disappointed. Aiwa is more focused on the budget segment, and only in Japan so far. The proposed equipment can hardly be called advanced - but nevertheless it's nice to see the logo of the brand known from childhood on something more modern than a CD radio. Let's take a brief look at the devices...
Aiwa JA2-SMP0601
The Aiwa JA2-SMP0601 smartphone is a simple model with Android Go and a 6.5-inch HD+ screen, equipped with a droplet notch for an 8-megapixel camera for selfie. On the back there are cameras with 13 and 2 Mpx matrices - the additional one is of course used for macro. The smartphone is based on the UNISOC T310 processor, supported by only 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory. The power supply is provided by a 4000 mAh battery, and everything is closed in a housing with a tightness compliant with the IP52 certificate.

Aiwa JA2-SMW0001
Aiwa JA2-SMW0001 is a smartwatch with a 1.8-inch screen with a resolution of 240x280 px, powered by a 200 mAh battery. The watch has a pulse oximeter and a waterproof housing in IP67 class. It works with Android-based smartphones through a dedicated application, it also offers the possibility of replacing the strap and typical fitness functions.

Aiwa JA2-TBA1001 is a 10.3-inch tablet with a screen resolution of 2000x1200 px. The heart of the device is the Mediatek MT8183 processor, supported by 4+64 GB memory and powered by a 6800 mAh battery. Aiwa JA2-TBA0801 is the smallest and weakest tablet in the brand's offer. It has an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 800x1280 px and a Mediatek MT8168 processor with 2+32 GB memories. You can immediately see that the device is running on Android Go. The equipment is complemented by cameras with 5 and 8 megapixel matrices, and the power supply is provided by a battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh.

Aiwa JA2-TBW1001
Aiwa JA2-TBW1001 is something between a tablet and an ultrabook - or just a Windows tablet with an attached keyboard. The equipment works on the Windows 11 Pro 64 bit platform, using the Intel Celeron N4020 processor with Intel Ultra HD 600 graphics, combined with 4+64 GB memory. The screen has a diagonal of 10.1 inches and Full HD resolution, while the power supply is provided by a 3500 mAh battery. The equipment also includes cameras with 2 and 5 Mpx matrices.
