Honor Brand today introduced the Honor X40 GT. It is the first smartphone in Honor's offer with such strongly accentuated, gaming connotations. What does it offer?
Honor X40 GT is mainly promoted with a black and green, distinctive and quite gaming-looking version. However, lovers of more classic designs can also choose white or black. In any case, however, the distinctive GT logo will remain embedded in the center of the large, round camera frame. This camera is triple - the main unit has a 50 Mpx (f/1.8) matrix, while the other two are 2-megapixel and are responsible for macro and background blurring. The fourth element that ensures the symmetrical appearance of the camera is the LED diode. On the front, we have a 6.81-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution, image refresh rate up to 144 Hz and a touch panel refreshed with a frequency of 480 Hz. The screen has a hole for a 16-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.45).

At the heart of the Honor X40 GT is an aged but still high-performance Snapdragon 888 processor, cooled by an extensive system with a multi-layer "cooler" measuring over 16,000 sq.m. and a steam chamber with an area of 4 thousand sq.m. The processor is supported by LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory, offered in the capacities of 8+256 and 12+256 GB. There is also virtual RAM. The 4800 mAh battery with a 66-watt charging system is responsible for the power supply. All this works under the control of Android 12 with the Magic UI 6.1 interface. The smartphone measures 166.1x75.8x8.45 mm and weighs 199.5 g. Prices are 2099 and 2399 yuan respectively for the 8+256 and 12+256 GB versions. After conversion - it's about $ 295-335.
