Samsung introduced a new, inexpensive smartphone Galaxy A04e. This model heralds a new style for the entire Galaxy A series.
It seems that Samsung has decided to change the stylization of not only flagships, but also models from the lower market segments. We have already seen the characteristic "plates" of the camera lenses on the renderings of the Galaxy M54, we also expect to see them in the flagship Galaxy S23. We also have them in the just presented Samsung Galaxy A04e, which may indicate that we will see a similar stylization in other models of the Galaxy A series, for example on Galaxy A24 or on Galaxy A04s. Thanks to this, smartphones will gain a consistent look and a simple, elegant form.

But let's go back to Galaxy A04e. The already mentioned rear lens covers in the case of this smartphone hide cameras with 13 and 2 Mx matrices. Weak? It's not strange, we are dealing with a budget smartphone after all! The front camera (hidden in the screen droplet) is also not surprising - it has only 5 megapixels. The screen itself, as you probably expect, has HD+ resolution, a diagonal of 6.5 inches and a wide "chin". Under the screen there is an unspecified, eight-core processor (supposedly MediaTek Helio G35), supported by 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32, 64 or even 128 GB of internal memory. The flash memory can be enlarged with a microSD card. The phone lacks 5G, there is no Wi-Fi in the 5 GHZ band, but there is a 5000 mAh battery, which in such low-powered equipment will certainly ensure a long working time without charging. Charging will probably take a long time, because the manufacturer does not mention high power, but does mention the lack of a charger in the set. The price wasn't mentioned either, but it certainly can't be high looking at the specs. The smartphone is managed by the Android 12 operating system with the One UI Core 4.1 interface, and the entire device measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 188 g.
