Motorola RAZR 2022 is available in 8 + 256 GB memory, priced at € 1199, in only one color - Satin Black. I must admit that matte black suits this device exceptionally well.

RAZR 2022 is another of the modern interpretations of the smartphone from years ago and probably the least resembling the original. The housing has become slimmer, the indentations and the chin have disappeared from the screen. The unfolded smartphone measures 79.79 x 166.99 x 7.62 mm, and when folded they are 79.79 x 86.45 x 16.99 mm. The whole weighs 200 g. Inside we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, supported by UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 memory, as well as a 3500 mAh battery with a 30-watt charging system. The smartphone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS and Galileo navigation.

You can use eSIM and a physical nanoSIM card. The phone has stereo speakers, as well as a dual camera with a main matrix of 50 megapixels, Optical Image Stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture. The additional module deals with wide-angle photos, offering a resolution of 13 megapixels, f/2.2 aperture and a field of view of 120 degrees. A 32-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture is responsible for the selfie, hidden in the opening of the main, flexible screen. This screen has a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The screen and the hinge of the phone are designed to avoid a clear collapse of the matrix at the place of folding, and at the same time so that both halves of the housing fit as closely as possible to each other. And it almost happened. Almost, because there is a slight gap between the parts of the housing, you can see undulations in the place where the screen is folded.

The design probably also made it impossible to meet the highest standard of water resistance. It's only IP52, but that's better than nothing. The smartphone can also be praised for a quite functional and large (considering the dimensions of the folded device) external screen. It has a diagonal of 2.7 inches and a resolution of 800x573 pixels. The software is almost pure Android 12 - Motorola only adds its typical personalization options, gestures, as well as several options using the specificity of the foldable smartphone housing - such as those related to an additional screen.
