Huawei today unveiled its second (after P50 Pocket) a smartphone with a flexible screen, built in the form of a flap. Meet Huawei Pocket S!
The Huawei Pocket S looks almost identical to the earlier Huawei P50 Pocket. The complex device enjoys a compact form and interesting style. The outer side of the flap is decorated with two circles. The first hides a dual camera, we create a 40-megapixel main matrix RYYB (f/1.8) and a 13-megapixel wide-angle module (f/2.2), while the second has an auxiliary display. This screen has a diameter of 1.04 inches and an OLED matrix with a resolution of 340x340 pixels - therefore it resembles a smartwatch. The style of the smartphone is complemented by a new, slim housing hinge designed to reduce the effect of undulating internal screen where it is folded. An important element of the phone's appearance are also coloured panels of the housing - you can have them in as many as six colours.

The heart of Huawei Pocket S is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, unfortunately - as a result of US sanctions - with 5G support blocked. The phone only offers LTE, and of course there is no official access to Google services under sanctions. There is a socket for a proprietary NM memory card. The foldable, flexible display with a diagonal of 6.9 inches is made in OLED technology, giving it a resolution of 2790x1188 pixels, which is more than Full HD+. The screen refreshes the image at a frequency of 120 Hz, and the touch panel - 300 Hz.

The power is supplied by a large (considering the dimensions of the phone) battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, charging quite quickly, with a power of 40 W.
