The official launch of the Oppo Reno9 series smartphones took place in China. We met the modelsOppo Reno9, Oppo Reno9 Pro and Oppo Reno9 Pro+, along with their prices. Now we are waiting for them to start their global expansion.
We will of course wait for the distribution of the Oppo Reno9 series outside of China. They will appear at the earliest in spring, and until then we will not be sure which models will come to us, in what versions and whether they will be modified compared to those presented today in China. So - instead of guessing, let's look at what we have here and now.
Oppo Reno9
Oppo Reno9 - the basis of the new series - received a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate and 800 nits brightness, with touch panel with 240 Hz sampling and HDR10+ support. The heart of this model is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, controlled (as in the other two models of the series) by the Android 13 operating system with the ColorOS 13 interface. Memory types depend on the selected capacity - details in the price list. The smartphone powers a 4500 mAh battery with 67 W charging power, and the list of equipment also includes stereo speakers or an under-screen fingerprint reader. The selfie takes a 32-megapixel camera with autofocus and f/2.4 aperture, while the rear 64-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture, supported by a 2-megapixel background blurr, takes care of the rest of the photos.

Oppo Reno9 Pro
Oppo Reno9 Pro has the same display and design as the base model, but comes in only three (instead of four) colours. It also has the same battery and selfie camera. This model uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor, LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memories and a much more interesting rear camera. We find in it the main Sony IMX890 matrix with a resolution of 50 megapixels with a lens with an aperture of f/1.8, as well as an 8 megapixel wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and a field of view of 112 degrees. The image quality is ensured by the dedicated MariSilicon X chip.

Oppo Reno9 Pro+
The most interesting is of course the Oppo Reno9 Pro+ model. Keeping a pretty good display from the two versions described above, it tempts with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and the speed of LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1. In addition, it has the largest battery of the three, with a capacity of 4700 mAh, in addition with the fastest charging in the series - 80 W. Like the other two models, the one with Plus also has stereo speakers and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. However, the rear camera is the best in the Reno9 family here. In addition to the 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 module with Optical Image Stabilization and f/1.8 aperture and MariSilicon X chip, there is also a 2-megapixel background blurr and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view, which can also take photos macro from 4 cm. The fact that all three models support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS or NFC - probably does not need to be mentioned, as well as the presence of USB-C sockets or the lack of minijacks.
