Apple has had to face the "bendgate" problem more than once, i.e. the problem of bending devices, but it has never been so bad! This year's iPad model breaks like a match!
Problems with the rigidity of mobile device housings are nothing new. They affect not only Apple - but probably in the case of this company, the "scandals" are the loudest. In the past, the problem of the case bending too easily affected the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Later, it happened that iPad Pros were bent almost "factory". What's more, even with light force, the 2018 iPad Pro was very easy to break. It was shown then by the same man who now revealed the problem in the current iPad. We're talking about Zack from the JerryRigEverything channel.
Zack showed that Apple iPad 2022 has a serious problem with the rigidity of the case. The fact that the glass of the screen bends slightly under pressure, and there is an empty space between it and the display matrix - is a trifle. The worst thing is that the housing of the device can be broken with relatively little effort. The tablet breaks like a match at the height of the Smart Connector. It has the form of three circular contacts, so holes are made in the side of the housing at its height. Apparently, they are responsible for the weakening of the structure in this place. The dividing line between the batteries is also in the same place, so the tablet is held only by the flat back panel, screen and motherboard. This, apparently, is not enough. Anyway - see for yourself:

The conclusions are simple. Treat the 2022 iPad with care. It should not be crushed even by a pillow or head, you need to take care of its proper carrying in a backpack or bag, and it is best to buy a case that stiffens the housing properly. Or - even better - wait for the next model in which Apple will almost certainly eliminate the fault...
