Recently we heard about planned promotion and now more detailed specifications and new renders of two models have appeared. We already know how the unpopular Galaxy S23+ differs from the basic model...
These differences are few, but compared to Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22+ may turn out to be slightly less identical. As the nomenclature suggests, the main difference will be the size - the Galaxy S23 has a diagonal of 6.11 inches and weighs 167 grams, and the S23 Plus is a 6.6-inch smartphone weighing 195 grams. The battery capacities are also different, in both cases slightly better than their predecessors - in the new generation it is respectively 3900 mAh with 25 W charging and 4700 mAh with 45 W charging. Wireless charging will already look the same for both models, offering 10W.
Both models will also get 8 GB of RAM, but the internal memory will be different - the Galaxy S23 will again get variants with 128 GB and 256 GB, but the Galaxy S23 + will be better in this respect - it will offer 256 or 512 GB. This is important because the new flagships, as usual, will not allow you to expand the memory with a microSD card. At least in both there is space for two nanoSIM cards, as well as support for eSIM.

Apart from the details mentioned, it will be very similar. Both models will get an AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px, variable refresh rate from 48 to 120 Hz, HDR10+ and Always-On Display, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. They will not lack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor... with the leak suggesting that models with this processor will also be available in Europe. For those who do not like Exynos processors, this is promising news.
Differences in terms of cameras will be minimal. 50 Mpx main camera, 12 Mpx wide-angle camera and 10 Mpx telephoto lens will not surprise us with anything. There will be a slight change in terms of the selfie lens, now 12 Mpx. Samsung also promises better photos in low light, but unlike the Galaxy S23 Ultra equipped with a 200 Mpx lens, the Galaxy S23 and S23+ will achieve this rather at the software level.
