The Indian branch of POCO announces the new budget smartphone POCO C55. However, it will not be such an absolute novelty - although you have to admit that the smartphone looks quite impressive.
The photo of POCO C55 available on the web reveals that the smartphone will be kept in a typical POCO style. It will have a large camera island, including not only two lenses and a diode, but also a logo and a classic fingerprint reader. The back of the housing will be covered with a material imitating leather. As you can see, the phone will be offered in green, but I don't think it will be the only color version.
On the technical side, POCO C55 is to be a twin of the already known Redmi 12C. In other words, it will receive an IPS display with a diagonal of 6.71 inches and HD+ resolution and a MediaTek Helio G85 processor supported by LPDDR4x and eMMC 5.1 memories. Their capacity may be different than in the original - but you have to hope that the minimum set will cover 4+64 GB. On board we will also find a 5000 mAh battery with 10-watt charging, a minijack, a microSD card slot and a double camera. It will receive a main matrix of 50 megapixels and a 2-megapixel background blurr, and the photographic set will be completed by a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The price should not exceed the equivalent of PLN 550 - although initially this model will be offered only by the Indian Flipkart store.
