Vivo iQOO Z7i - the first smartphone with the new MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor - debuted in China today.
MediaTek Dimensity 6020 is a SoC designed for rather inexpensive smartphones and created in 7 nm lithography. This system consists of two efficient Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2 GHz. The set is completed with Mali-G57 graphics. This processor has been adapted to work with LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memories. In the case of the new iQOO, they have a capacity of 4.6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash, the first can be enlarged virtually, and the second - physically, with a microSD card. What else does Vivo iQOO Z7i offer? The smartphone has an LCD screen with a diagonal of 6.51 inches and HD+ resolution, with a droplet notch for a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, there is a main 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro unit with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone powers a 5000 mAh battery with 15-watt charging, and Android 13 with the OriginOS Ocean overlay acts as the system. There are two housing colors to choose from - Moon Shadow Black and Ice Lake Blue - and prices, depending on the RAM capacity, are 949, 999 and 1099 yuan, or $ 137/145/160.

The sale of iQOO Z7i will start on March 20, then we will also get to know two more powerful smartphones from the new family. According to the announcement, iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x are to have large batteries and fast charging. iQOO Z7 will receive a Snapdragon 695 processor, a 5000 mAh battery and 120 W charging, while in iQOO Z7x we will see the Snapdragon 782G and a larger 6000 mAh battery, but with a slower, 80-watt charging.
