ASUS today introduced gaming smartphones from the ROG Phone series. The ASUS ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate models visually resemble the previous generation and are built according to similar assumptions - but of course they have refreshed specifications.
In fact, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate models differ only in details, including visually. As befits gaming beasts, they are equipped with the top Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors with extensive cooling systems and support from fast LPDDR5x and UFS 4.0 memories. Both models have additional keys - triggers for players, as well as powerful stsreo speakers and minijack outputs. There was also support for 5G or Wi-Fi 7 networks and NFC modules, care was also taken to ensure that the display did not have unsightly cutouts or notches. The screen has an even, narrow bezel and a diagonal of 6.78 inches. Both matrices are of course AMOLED, with support for HDR10 + and fast image refresh rate of 165 Hz. The screens work at a resolution of 2448x1080 pixels, with a brightness of up to 1500 nits.
