As every year, Sony presented two smartphones: the flagship Xperia 1 V and the mid-range Xperia 10V. What is the Japanese producer offering us this season?
Sony Xperia 1V
We start the review of Sony news with the flagship model Sony Xperia 1 V. The smartphone looks interesting thanks to the display with quite wide margins at the bottom and top, but devoid of an unsightly hole or notch. This display is OLED, has a diagonal of 6.5 inches and a 4K resolution, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. On the display frame there is a 12-megapixel selfie camera with a 1/2.9 "matrix. The most important cameras The main one is the new Exmor T module with a 52 Mpx 1/1.35" dual-layer sensor and f/1.9 aperture. The new sensor is designed to capture more light in difficult lighting conditions. Next to it there was a 12 Mpx wide-angle camera and another, 12-megapixel, excellent camera with a 85-125 mm telephoto lens with smooth, optical zoom control and f / 2.3-f / 2.8 aperture. The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor combined with 12+256 GB memories, and the power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 30-watt charging. Sony Xperia 1 V has a housing with tightness in accordance with IP68 requirements, as well as old-fashioned accessories such as a minijack or a microSD card slot. The price will be 1400 euros.

Sony Xperia 10V
Sony Xperia 10 V is a more modest, but definitely cheaper proposition. It is based on the same processor as the previous model, i.e. on the Snapdragon 695, supported by 6+128 GB memories. The space for the microSD card has not been forgotten, adding one more element from the past: the OLED display with a wide frame and a diagonal of 6.1 inches and Full HD + resolution refreshes the image with a frequency of only 60 Hz. As a consolation, we have Gorilla Glass Victus and Sony's promise that the screen is 1.5x brighter than last year's model. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with only 21-watt charging, but the housing meets the requirements of the IP68 waterproof and dustproof certificate. A minijack and stereo speakers have also been added, as well as improved cameras compared to the previous generation of Xperia 10. The main one has 48 megapixels and an f/1.8 aperture, as well as support for two 8-megapixel cameras. The first has a 2x telephoto lens, and the second - is wide-angle, with a field of view of 120 degrees. There is another 8-megapixel in front ... And all this together is priced at 450 euros. As every year, a few weeks will pass from the presentation to the premiere in Europe - we can look forward to both models in June. They may not be very exciting, but they are priced unattractively...
