Redmi 12 is a smartphone on the borderline of the budget and mid-range, so it does not tempt with too sophisticated design and specification - but on the other hand, you can not fault it much. It costs only 199 euro, and has a pretty decent specification and correct appearance. The smartphone is based on the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, supported by 4 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 memory. The smartphone also received a 6.79-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and an image refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, with the option of automatic adjustment of this parameter. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging.
The equipment list includes NFC, FM radio, infrared transmitter, hybrid slot for Dual SIM and microSD cards and a minijack. There is also an 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.1) and a triple camera on the back, with a main matrix of 50 megapixels and an aperture (f/1.8). It is supported by cameras: 8 Mpx for wide-angle photos (f/2.2) and 2 Mpx for macro (f/2.4). The role of the operating system is Android 13 with the MIUI 14 interface, and the electronics are protected against splashing at the IP53 level.
