Nothing smartphones are often compared to Apple smartphones despite the much lower price range of both Nothing Phone 1 and its successors. Their speed has just been compared in a new test...
On the YouTube channel PhoneBuff, presented two weeks ago, Nothing Phone 2 (available at a price of $ 750 to $ 950 depending on the memory variant) and iPhone 14 Plus, which cost from $ 1,470 to 1,970 on the day of last year's launch, although now it can sometimes be found on sale for less than $1,120. The iPhone was armed with an Apple A15 Bionic processor and 6 GB of RAM, while Carl Pei's new product had a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor from Qualcomm and 12 GB of RAM.

You can notice a certain advantage at the beginning, but the Nothing smartphone is also favored by the interface. iOS once boasted significantly better performance than Android, but the gap between the two systems has gradually narrowed, and the minimalist Nothing interface has further helped the new device to compete with the American favorite. During the tests, the speed of opening office applications, movies and games, video recording and photo editing, as well as reopening applications running in the background were tested. In the end, Nothing Phone (2) beat the iPhone 14 Plus by 6 seconds, proving that it can offer comparable performance at a much lower price. Of course, that's just one thing to consider choosing between iPhone and Android, but the new test is definitely food for thought.
