Samsung is working on a new Galaxy M series phone called Galaxy M44 5G. The upcoming smartphone is likely to be the successor to Galaxy M34 5G, which debuted this month. The brand has yet to announce or hint at the appearance of Galaxy M44 5G, but this is the first official meeting with this phone.
Galaxy M44 5G bears the model number SM-M446K on the Geekbench website. The entry shows that the smartphone is powered by a processor codenamed "lahaina", which corresponds to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip. This chip has a maximum clock frequency of 2.84 GHz and is supported by the Adreno 660 GPU. On the Geekbench website, Galaxy M44 5G scored 1531 points in the single-core test and 3771 points in the multi-core test. The entry on Geekbench also reports a phone with 6GB of RAM and Android 13 operating system.

Galaxy M44 5G is the expected successor to the Galaxy M34 5G with improved specifications and features. The Galaxy M34 5G was recently launched with a starting price of Rs 16,999. As a mid-range phone, it has a notched screen, a triple rear camera and a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung aims to further improve the user experience and offer more advanced capabilities.
