ZTE has announced a new smartphone ZTE Fresh 50. This is a budget smartphone with a rather interesting, though not necessarily original, styling.
ZTE Fresh 50 (also known as ZTE Xiaoxian 50) has a plastic housing with a porous structure on the back, which is diversified by a large, round camera frame. We have seen a similar solution in Xiaomi or Huawei smartphones, and recently it has become a hallmark of many Honor models. Which brand ZTE was modeled on - we do not know, but it must be admitted that in terms of specifications, probably no competitor was modeled on. Why? The ZTE Fresh 50 uses the exotic Sharp T760 5G processor. It is created in 6 nm lithography and is built with four Cortex-A76 2.2 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores and the Mail G57 graphics chip. The processor is supported by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery, without fast charging.

The ZTE Fresh 50 uses a 6.52-inch LCD display with only HD+ resolution, but with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and on the back - a 13-megapixel main camera, both with f/2.2 apertures. The rest of the frame of the rear camera is filled with an LED diode and two... dummy lenses. As the operating system, Android 13 works with the company's MyOS 13 overlay. The overlay has been enriched with options for older users, including interface enlargement and anti-cyber theft functions. There are two housing colours to choose from: Time Gray and Spring Sunlight Green. There are also two memory versions: 4+128 and 6+128 GB, and their prices are - respectively - 699 and 799 yuan, i.e. $ 97 and 111.
