Vivo decided to treat the world - or more precisely: Asia - with an inexpensive smartphone for less demanding users. Meet Vivo Y17s!
Vivo Y17s comes in two colors and has flat sides and back that are fashionable this season. The display is a bit less fashionable, as it has a diagonal of 6.5 inches, HD+ resolution, a wide "chin" and a droplet notch for an 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0). The rear camera is a bit deceiving, as it has a frame made of two large circles - but it actually houses only one camera, a 50-megapixel one with an f/1.8 aperture. The second eye is a background blur. The heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, supported by 6 GB of LPDDR4X operating memory and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal memory.

Both memories can be expanded: the operating memory virtually (Extended RAM 3.0) by another 6 GB, and the internal memory - by 1 TB with a microSD card. The power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery, charging with a power of 15 W, and the operating system is Android 13 with the Funtouch OS 13 overlay. The equipment also includes a side fingerprint reader, a separate DualSIM slot, FM radio and moisture protection at IP54. The smartphone is currently offered in Singapore for 199 local dollars, which works out to 146 USD.
