Samsung's Chinese branch announced two new models - Samsung W24 and W24 Flip. These are local, more elegant editions of the well-known Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.
Technically, Samsung W24 is the twin of Galaxy Z Fold5, and W24 Flip is simply Galaxy Z Flip5. What distinguishes the Chinese models from "ours" is the design of the casing. It was changed to look more luxurious to meet the needs of buyers from China. Samsung W24 - i.e. Fold - has gained black housing panels, as well as a gold frame and accents around the camera. The appearance of the hinge cover is also different - it has an embossed pattern that adds elegance. In the case of the flap, i.e. W24 Flip - you can choose from black or white housing panels and - again - a gold frame and accents. Also here, the hinge cover was changed to a nicer one. W models are offered in top memory editions: Samsung W24 16 GB+1 TB for 15,999 yuan ($2,195), and W24 Flip 12+256 GB for 9,999 yuan ($ 1,372). Interestingly, standard versions of Galaxy Z Fold5 and are also offered in China Galaxy Z Flip5...
