The launch of new devices from Google is on October 4, so it's time for a big pre-release leak. Straight from Germany, we have full specs and plenty of renders!
The new Pixels feature Google Tensor G3 processors. The processor will be supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory. The basic model will have a 6.1-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the Pixel 8 Pro will have a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and, again, a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Additionally, the Pro version will have other memory options to choose from - there will be 12 GB RAM and 512 GB flash options. Both smartphones will receive a 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 main camera and an 11-megapixel selfie camera.

Pixel 8 will also be equipped with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 wide-angle camera, while the Pixel 8 Pro will feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX787 wide-angle camera. The Pro model will also have a camera with a telephoto lens - 48-megapixel Samsung GM5. The battery capacity will be 4,600 mAh in the base and 5,100 mAh in the Pro model. Prices for the basic variants with 128 GB memory are EUR 799 and EUR 1,099 respectively.

Google Pixel Watch 2 will receive a characteristic, round 1.2-inch display with a rounded edge. The heart of the watch will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen1 processor, paired with 16 GB internal memory and the Wear OS 4 system. The watch will, of course, receive a pulse oximeter and all the necessary activity and sleep monitoring functions, and it will be powered by a 306 mAh battery. The casing is supposed to be IP68 tight, but at the same time the note on the casing mentions the possibility of submersion to a depth of 50 m. The watch will cost EUR 399. It is also known that pre-sale smartphones will be offered in sets: Pixel 8 will be sold with free Pixel Buds Pro headphones, while Pixel Watch 2 will be added to Pixel 8 Pro.
