The announced Infinix Smart 8 has already been officially launched. The smartphone is a budget smartphone, but its appearance tries to resemble the iPhone.
Infinix Smart 8 debuted in Nigeria (where it costs the equivalent of $105), which may partly explain the manufacturer's efforts to make the device similar to the iPhone. Obviously, "everyone wants to have an iPhone", and Nigerians are not a wealthy society. That's why Infinix Smart 8 will probably be warmly welcomed there. The smartphone is cheap, but has characteristically arranged elements around the rear camera and the equivalent of Dynamic Island (Magic Ring) notifications around the front camera. Of course, these solutions are not identical to those in the iPhone - but I can't help but think of a rather strong "inspiration"...

As befits a budget device, Infinix Smart 8 is based on the Unisoc T606 processor and has a 6.6-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and an image refresh rate of 90 Hz and brightness up to 500 nits. This would not be a bad thing, but at the same time the smartphone is equipped with a weak 4+64 GB memory set, which rather excludes the comfortable use of the Android 13 system with the not very light XOS 13 interface. The front camera is 8 megapixels, while the rear camera is 13 megapixels, f/aperture 1.8 and additional VGA background blur. Infinix Smart 8 is offered in four colour options.
