The official launch of the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro smartphones took place in China today and Redmi K70E and the new Redmi Watch 4 smartwatch and Redmi Buds 5 Pro headphones.

Redmi K70

Redmi K70 received a Snapdragon 8 gen 2 processor and LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 memories, as well as a 5000 mAh battery charging at 120 W On the front we will see a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate and an impressive maximum brightness of 4000 nits. Redmi K70 has a Light Hunter 800 camera, with a 50-megapixel 1/1.55-inch matrix, OIS optical image stabilization and an excellent f/1.6 aperture. Next to it there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. the selfie camera is 16-megapixel. Redmi K70 Pro

Redmi K70 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor, but always with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 memory. The display is the same as in the base model, but the styling can be different. Xiaomi has reached an agreement with Lamborghini - and supercar enthusiasts can buy a phone with a more interesting appearance than the standard one. Of course - more expensive. The selfie camera and the main camera are the same as in the base, but the wide-angle camera is 12-megapixel, and instead of a useless macro we get a 50-megapixel camera with a 2x portrait telephoto lens. The dimensions and weight of this model are identical to the basic one - but the Lamborghini version is heavier - 211 g. Like the other smartphones presented today by Xiaomi, this one also works in the system HyperOS, based on Android 14. Of course, apart from the already known ones. Redmi K70E

Redmi K70E is the cheapest model of the series. It has a MediaTek 8300-Ultra processor with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 memory, as well as a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 2712x1220 pixels, brightness up to 1800 nits, with image refreshment of 120 Hz, touch refreshment of 2160 Hz, PWM dimming of 1920 Hz and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and 12-bit color palette. The smartphone is powered by a 5,500 mAh battery with 90-watt charging, and a 16-megapixel camera is responsible for selfies, just like in the base K70. The additional cameras on the back are also similar to those in the K70, but the main one has been replaced by a 64-megapixel 1/2" sensor, but still with OIS optical image stabilization. This model measures 160.45x74.34x8.05 mm and weighs 198 g. It is said that Redmi K70E will also be seen as POCO X6 Pro. Prices and versions are as follows:

Redmi Watch 4 and Redmi Buds 5 Pro

Redmi Watch 4 comes in two colours and has a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390x450 pixels, 60 Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness, as well as a crown for menu navigation and Always on display. The watch is equipped with GNSS, NFC and Bluetooth 5.3 modules, and the casing is waterproof to class 5 ATM. The watch is powered by a 470 mAh battery, and of course the system is HyperOS. Redmi Watch 4 also has a pulse oximeter and monitors over 150 types of activities. The watch costs 499 yuan, or $70.50.

Redmi Buds 5 Pro are affordable TWS headphones, offered in four colors. They are equipped with an active noise reduction system with attenuation efficiency of 52 dB, using AI. The power supply is provided by rechargeable batteries - 2x160 mA in the headphones and 700 mA in the case. The headphones use Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with LE, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP protocols. They are also hi-res audio certified. The orange and black version supports lossless LHDC transmission and has low audio latency - 20 ms - compared to standard models offering 49 ms. The headphones cost 399 or 499 yuan (depending on the finish) - or USD 57-70.5.
