The current appearance of the iPhone, although characteristic and eagerly imitated, has become somewhat outdated - and the manufacturer knows it and is thinking about changes. What might the iPhone 16 look like?
Apple is rather conservative when it comes to smartphone styling, so we certainly can't count on any radical changes. However, according to MacRumors, various modifications to the appearance of the new devices are being considered. It can be seen that Apple is considering various scenarios, and the final decisions have not been made yet. The front will not change significantly - there will be a display with a narrow frame and Dynamic Island. The changes may affect the camera island to such an extent - even adding a dark frame around the lenses is taken into account. Various shapes of buttons on the side of the housing are also being considered, and the additional Action Button key will now be tactile, not mechanical. Even adding another programmable key on the other side of the housing, below the power switch, is being considered. Its natural use seems to be camera operation, although reports mention wider possibilities of using this button. Apple is also reportedly considering a new color range. However, there is still a lot of time until the premiere, and what we are seeing today are visualizations of early prototypes. At this point, we can be sure that Apple will introduce cosmetic changes to the appearance of smartphones, but the overall form of the iPhone will remain unchanged.
