It's tense in Korea today. Samsung has actually leaked a large package of information regarding the new Galaxy S24 series of flagships. There are specifications, official renders, as well as the release date ...
We'll start with the release date. Evan Blass, a legend among leaksters, publishes a countdown graphic to the launch. The image shows that it will take place on January 17, at 22:30 our time (CET). If that wasn't enough, Evan also publishes a table with the data of new smartphones. It seems that it comes from the US market, because it mentions the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor - and we know that, for example, the Exynos system will unfortunately come to Europe. However, the rest of the data should now match. The smartphones will receive IP68-class housings, with the Ultra model being the only one with a titanium frame. The other two Galaxy S will have aluminum frames. All of them also feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with a brightness of up to 2,600 nits.

The basic Samsung Galaxy S24 will have a Full HD+ display, 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of flash memory and a 4000 mAh battery, half-charging in half an hour, i.e. probably with 25-watt charging. This model will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a camera with a telephoto lens with 2x lossless zoom and 30x digital zoom.
Samsung Galaxy S24+, in turn, will receive a 6.7-inch screen with QHD+ resolution and a 4,900 mAh battery, charging faster, up to 65% in half an hour - that is, probably with a power of 45 W. The set of cameras will be the same as in the base model. We will see 12 GB of RAM and 256 and 512 GB flash.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a QHD display, but 6.8-inch, with support for a stylus. This model will have the largest battery in the series - 5000 mAh - as well as the most powerful, 200-megapixel camera with 100x digital zoom. Memory - as in the Plus model, 12+256 or 12+512 GB.
