Xiaomi 14 Ultra is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated and most imaginative smartphones of this year. Time for a proper leak about it!
It turned out that Xiaomi 14 Ultra - although it is to debut later than the basic Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, planned for the MWC fair at the end of February - is already being tested. The photos sent from China show that the test units of Xiaomi 14 Ultra ended up in the hands of local influencers or Xiaomi fans. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, packed in a camouflaging cover, can be seen in the hands of charming Asian women taking photos with it. It can be seen that these women compare the effects of work on Ultra with other smartphones, including: other Xiaomi or Vivo. It looks as if the smartphone was simply caught in the arena of outdoor tests, or while working on advertising materials - but then it would probably not be camouflaged... In any case, it can be noticed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a display with slightly rounded edges, with a hole for the selfie camera. At the back you can see a solidly protruding, large camera frame. Although the grille suggests that the frame is rectangular, it may ultimately be round, as previously published unofficial renders of Xiaomi 14 Ultra showed.

In the frame we see three classic lenses and the fourth - periscope. We can therefore assume that we will see a system consisting of a main camera, a portrait camera, a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera with a periscope. There are rumors that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will receive an inch Sony LYT900 matrix, of course with optical image stabilization. Another rumor says that Xiaomi 14 Ultra cameras will work with apertures ranging from f/1.6 to f/4.0 - but it is not certain whether this is true about all lenses or about the variable aperture in the main camera. However, it is practically certain that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and UFS 4.0 and LPDDR5x memory, or the newer LPDDR5T. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will debut with the HyperOS interface, it will also have an OLED screen with a resolution of at least 1.5K and a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz, stereo speakers and a transmitter infrared. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will also have fast, 100-watt charging of the battery, which should not have a capacity less than 5000 mAh. The premiere of Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China is expected in April. The global one, like the previous model, will probably take place around June.
