In addition to the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 smartphone, which we have already written about, Samsung today presented the reinforced Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablet. What does the new device offer?
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablet has a unique feature. The 5050 mAh battery can be removed and replaced with another, charged one - or you can continue working without it. Of course, in the mentioned "No Battery" mode, a connected charger with a voltage of 9V and a current of 2.3 A is required to operate. The mode must first be turned on and the processor performance and screen brightness will be reduced. The mentioned screen has a diagonal of 8 inches, WUXGA resolution, refreshes the image at a frequency of 120 Hz, and can also be used with the included stylus. And the stylus, like the entire tablet, is IP68 tight. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 is based on an unspecified, but eight-core processor, supported by memory in sets of 6 + 128 or 8 + 256 GB. The tablet also has a microSD card slot and a minijack, a 5G modem, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 6, NFC and DualSIM modules using eSIM. The equipment is complemented by cameras: 5-megapixel at the front, 13-megapixel at the back. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and the housing additionally meets the requirements of the MIL-STD-810H military durability standard. Unfortunately, in the case of the tablet, we do not know the price.
It is worth adding that the premiere was officially announced shortly after the Czech store revealed the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 smartphone along with the price, photos and all other data. Of course - the specification turned out to be true - and you can see it by clicking the link below:
