We have already heard about new iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 cameras, and now the leak has revealed further specifications of this year's models.
Changes from generation to generation vary, but the rule is simple - new products go to the Pro and Pro Max models, and the basic and Plus models receive elements known from the more expensive models of the previous generation. This was the case recently with Dynamic Island, debuting in iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and a year later it was introduced in all Apple iPhone 15 models. Similarly, further reduction of Dynamic Island is expected... but in 2024, the appearance of the front camera and Face ID will remain rather unchanged. iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will receive 8 GB of RAM and support for Wi-Fi 6E - in 2023 Apple iPhone 15 and Apple iPhone 15 Plus had to make do with 6 GB RAM.
And what exclusive new features will iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max get this year? Analyst Jeff Pu, which is also the source of the above information about memory, claims that the latest Qualcomm modem, i.e. Snapdragon X75 5G, will be included in the more expensive next-generation models. Base models will remain with the older Snapdragon X70 modem.
