Samsung presented the new Samsung Galaxy Fit3 sports band. What does the new sports gadget offer?
In its communication, the manufacturer calls the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 a "watch" - so let me stick to the company's terminology, although privately I consider the Samsung Galaxy Fit series to be wristbands... So what does the new watch offer? Galaxy Fit3 has an aluminum casing and a large display, making it easier for users to track health and wellness data. The 1.6-inch display with a resolution of 256x402 px is 45% wider than the previous Galaxy Fit2 model and offers extensive personalization options, such as setting your own photo as a background or access to over 100 ready-made dial patterns. Optional one-click replacement straps let you customize your Galaxy Fit3 to suit your preferences and lifestyle. Galaxy Fit3 battery - capacity 208 mAh - will last up to 13 days.

Galaxy Fit3 allows you to track your sleep patterns, detects snoring, and monitors your blood oxygen levels to provide more detailed measurements. Based on individual sleep patterns, Galaxy Fit3 provides users with personalized tips that motivate them to change habits that support sleep hygiene. Throughout the day, Galaxy Fit3 allows you to monitor various types of activities. Users can track over 100 types of training anytime, anywhere and view their achievements on the way to their goal. Galaxy Fit3 can be used regardless of weather conditions - the watch is waterproof and dustproof according to 5ATM and IP68 standards. Galaxy Fit3 also provides information on basic health metrics, which include heart rate, stress levels and menstrual cycle tracking. To ensure your peace of mind, Galaxy Fit3 offers new features such as fall detection and emergency SOS. If a fall is detected, Galaxy Fit3 gives you the ability to immediately call emergency services to obtain medical assistance as quickly as possible. When the user finds himself in a health-threatening situation, he can immediately send an SOS by pressing the side button five times. Galaxy Fit3 users can also access a range of features within the connected Samsung Galaxy ecosystem. For example, Galaxy Fit3 can be used as a wrist controller to remotely set the self-timer when taking photos with a smartphone[16], or to control multimedia on a paired device. An additional useful option is the synchronization of Galaxy Fit3 settings with a paired smartphone in the case of "Do not disturb" modes or night mode, when we do not want anyone to disturb our rest. With Galaxy Fit3, we can also easily locate a lost smartphone and vice versa - a compatible smartphone will make it easier to find a lost watch.
The Galaxy Fit3 will be available in three colors: gray, silver and rose gold starting February 23, 2024. No pricing has been announced yet.
