As expected, Oppo Watch X debuted shortly after the launch of Oppo Watch 2 at MWC 2024. Official data confirms the information from the leaks - it is one watch with two names.
Oppo Watch X is now available on Oppo Malaysian website. Its special feature is its dual processor and operating system - Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 with Google WearOS 4 takes care of performance-demanding tasks, and the BES 2700BP processor with RTOS ensures smooth and energy-saving operation of the smartwatch in the background. The whole is complemented by 2 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.
Oppo Watch X has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate and a 500 mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, should provide 100 hours of operation with typical use and up to 12 days in energy saving mode. VOOC Flash charging fills the battery from zero in 60 minutes, and 10 minutes of charging should translate into a day of use. Oppo Watch X is also equipped with dual-band GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC, it also offers IP68 tightness, water resistance of 5 ATM and durability in accordance with the MIL-STD-810H military standard.
Oppo Watch X sales in Malaysia will start from March 2. The smartwatch will be available in Platinum Black or Mars Brown, and its price will be 1,399 ringgit, or approximately EUR 270. It is possible that Oppo Watch x will also be available for sale in other countries soon.
