Speculations about the appearance of the iPhone SE4 have been circulating for a long time - but finally, something concrete has appeared in the form of schematic CAD sketches. What does the iPhone SE4 look like?
The CAD sketches on which we can see iPhone SE4 come, of course, from unofficial source - but they may have a lot in common with the truth, as they are used, among others, by accessory designers - and most likely they come from such a source. The sketches reveal that the iPhone SE4 will have dimensions of 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7 mm. In other words, its dimensions will be similar to the base iPhone 13 or 14. Compared to the previous incarnations of the "budget" iPhone, the new model will have a much larger display. The screen will cover the entire front, but at the top there will be a large notch housing the selfie camera, as well as the Face ID facial recognition system, which will be the only gatekeeper of access to the device. We won't see fingerprint readers anymore...
The screen is to be 6.1 inches, but the dimensions of the smartphone will still allow it to be called compact - of course, up to the present times. The mechanical notification switch will be replaced with an Action Button, and a USB-C port will appear at the bottom of the case. However, one thing will not change - the camera will still be only a single one, with a small LED diode. For now, it is difficult to say when the new iPhone SE will debut. It may appear with the next generation of "mainstream" models - but we may well not see it until 2025.
