ZTE Axon 60 Ultra debuted in China, featuring the unique ability to seamlessly switch connections between the cellular and satellite networks. This is the first solution of its kind in the world.
Unfortunately, ZTE Axon 60 Ultra will be practically unavailable. Its availability has been limited to China's government spheres. However, it should not be ruled out that the government and business part of Chinese society will be treated as a "testing ground" before wider commercialization of this solution. ZTE Axon 60 Ultra is intended to provide better coverage and availability of connections by switching between the cellular network and the satellite - if the coverage of the former is too weak or disappears. the smartphone operates in the Chinese Tiantong satellite communications system and in 5.5G networks, i.e. 5G Advanced.

Apart from unique communication capabilities and low availability, ZTE Axon 60 Ultra is a typical flagship. It is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 memory and is equipped with a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and an image refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone also has a decent 6000 mAh battery, charging with a power of 80 W, and IP68 sealing. The photography section includes a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a macro module. For obvious reasons, the price of the new Axon is unknown.
