Google today presented the third, cheapest member of the Pixel 8 smartphone family. Meet Pixel 8A - but first read the message of the month, and maybe even the first year!

Let's look at the new model - what does Pixel 8A offer? It is a smartphone using the TENSOR G3 company processor (the same as in other series models), supported by LPDDR5X and UFS 3.1 memory, offered in capacities 8+128 and 8+256 GB. The smartphone also has an additional system that cares for safety - Titan M2. The front covers the 6.1-inch OLED Actua display with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz image refresh rate and brightness up to 2000 rivets. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while in its upper part a hole was made for a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera of the cameras, in turn, consists of: 64 Mpx main unit with optical image stabilization, 1/1.73" size matrix and f/1.89 aperture as well as a 13 Mpx wide -angle camera with aperture f/2.2 and a field of view 120 degrees. Of course, the smartphone is equipped with an under-screen fingerprint reader, stereo speakers as well as NFC or ESIM, while the interior of the housing is protected against liquids and dust at IP67 levels. The power supply is provided by a 4500 mAh battery. As an operating system - of course, android 14 in raw form, enriched with functions using artificial intelligence. Pixel 8A will receive operating and security updates for 7 years. The smartphone has dimensions of 152.1x72.7x8.9 mm and weighs 188 g. Pixel 8a is priced at $499 / €549 / INR 52,999 for the 128GB model and $559 / €609 / INR 59,999 for the 256GB model.
