25 years after its launch, the legendary Nokia 3210, manufactured by Human Mobile Devices (HMD), returns in Scuba Blue, Grunge Black and Y2K Gold colours.
The HMD company promotes a new term for the simplest mobile phones and argues that dumbphones are becoming more and more popular because people want to go back to the times when their attention was not distracted by constant notifications and buzzing of the bell. In 2023, Human Mobile Devices (HMD) saw sales of the iconic Nokia 2660 Flip Dual SIM, and HMD expects sales of this type of devices to continue to grow in 2024.
Phones such as Nokia 2660 or the iconic Nokia 3210 are an antidote to the problem of digital addiction. And this affects a huge part of society. Nearly four in ten people (38%) aged 16-24 worry that they spend too much time with a smartphone in their hand. The Nokia 3210 was launched a quarter of a century ago and quickly became a hit. In 2024, the legend returns, only this time its purpose is different - it is to distract people from the screens.

Ben Wood, founder of the Mobile Phone Museum, comments: The original Nokia 3210 holds a special place in the hearts of many consumers, as evidenced by the fact that it was one of the best-selling mobile phones of all time . Add to that the iconic design and I'm sure it's a great time for the Nokia 3210 to re-appear on the market. The 3210 is considered one of the most important phones Nokia has ever developed. This model was loved by many, often being the first mobile phone in their lives. This modern variation on the classic design is sure to attract people's attention. The re-launch of the Nokia 3210 is part of the growing popularity of entry-level phones as more young people switch off and join the digital detox trend.
The new incarnation of the Nokia 3210 (2024) phone is a device for those who want to take a break from social media, the Internet and endless notifications. And it doesn't matter whether they need a digital detox for a day, two, a week or maybe longer. Anyone who wants to take a break from the digital world can do it in the fashionable style of the nineties.

Updated for the next generation, Nokia 3210 (2024) has a retro look. It is equipped with all the necessary functions you can expect from a phone, including a 2 MPx camera with flash (and flashlight), radio, MP3 player and minijack. The screen has a diagonal of 2.4 inches and a QVGA resolution, and the heart of the device is the Unisoc T107 processor supported by 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal memory, expandable using a microSD card. Power is provided by a 1,450 mAh battery, which is enough for 9.5 hours of continuous talk time and is charged via USB-C. Since it is 2024, this time Nokia 3210 supports 4G network. The 3210 model is available in Poland in three bold colors referring to this era: Scuba Blue, Y2K Gold and Grunge Black. Nokia 3210 wouldn't be Nokia 3210 if it didn't have Snake - so he's back too.
Will the new model be as successful as its predecessor? Considering that when announcing the premiere, the manufacturer has not yet announced the price, I don't predict anything spectacular.
