Sony Xperia 10 VI

Sony Xperia 10 VI is an average device for the upcoming season. This model can be considered compact because it has a 6.1-inch Triluminous Display for mobile screen with Full HD+ resolution, with a currently surprising image refresh rate... 60 Hz. Only the touch panel is refreshed at a frequency of 120 Hz, but as a consolation, the display offers full coverage of the DCI-P3 color palette. The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 6 gen 1 processor, supported by 8+128 GB memory, with the option of using a microSD card. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with a 1/4" matrix size and f/2.0 aperture, as well as two rear cameras. The main one has a 48-megapixel 1/2.0" matrix and f/1.8 aperture, while the wide-angle one has an 8-megapixel 1/4" megapixel matrix and f/2.0 aperture. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery. The interior of the smartphone is protected against dust and moisture at the IP68 level, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The front stereo speakers have a wider range than in the previous model dynamic, thanks to which they reproduce sound with better treble and bass. The Xperia 10 VI smartphone supports Bluetooth connectivity - also using the LDAC codec - and is equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The smartphone is 155 mm long and 68 mm wide it is comfortable to use. The back of the casing, made of matte, translucent, milky white resin, gives the device a gentle appearance.

Sony Xperia 1 VI

Sony Xperia 1 VI is this year's flagship of the Japanese company, powered by the Snapdragon 9 Gen 3 processor, supported by 12 GB of RAM. The internal memory can be 256 or 512 GB, still expandable with a microSD card. Sony Xperia 1 VI has a 6.5-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. To facilitate viewing in bright places, the display brightness has been increased by 50%. The new "Sun Visibility" function improves image visibility outdoors. On the front there is also a 12-megapixel selfie camera with a 1/2.9" matrix and f/2.0 aperture. On the back there are three cameras prepared in cooperation with the Zeiss brand. The main one has a 52-megapixel matrix with a size of 1/1.35" and f/1.9 aperture, and the wide-angle one - 12-megapixel 1/2.5" and f/2.2 aperture. The set is finished with a camera with a telephoto lens with variable focal length (85-170 mm, which means optical zoom up to 7.1x) and f/2.3 aperture -3.5, combined with a 12-megapixel 1/3.5" matrix. This camera can also take macro photos. The rear camera is equipped with AI technology that recognizes the human figure, which allows it to accurately maintain focus even in difficult conditions - for example, when there are obstacles between the camera and the subject. New in the Xperia 1 VI smartphone is a significantly changed camera application with a new, easy-to-use operating system. These improvements make it easier to use the camera without limiting the availability of creative tools, such as PSM shooting modes and customizable "Creative Look" color settings. The smartphone also has stereo speakers, IP68 tightness and Gorilla Glass Victus glass on the back. The Xperia I VI smartphone supports the latest technologies and audio formats, such as High-Resolution Audio, High-Resolution Audio Wireless, LDAC, Bluetooth and LE Audio (Low Energy) and Snapdragon Soundii. Users of selected models of wireless headphones can turn on the AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) Connection mode, which improves the sound quality, among others, in noisy urban environments, ensuring uninterrupted music listening pleasure. The back of the Xperia 1 VI smartphone case has a special texture that makes it easier to hold and ensures comfort, functionality and attractive appearance. Thanks to micro-reliefs on the glass and a matte finish, it is more resistant to fingerprints and surface scratches than other materials. The smartphone is available in several colors and has a strong metal frame for durability.

Prices and availability

The Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI smartphones will go on sale in the second half of May. Sony did not provide exact prices - they will be decided by store managers in retail chains. The Xperia 1 VI will be available for pre-order from May 16 for approximately EUR 1,399. In turn, pre-sale of Xperia 10 VI starts on May 23, and the price will be approximately EUR 399.
