When tablets first appeared, 7-8 inches were a very popular size. Later, such devices almost disappeared from the market - but apparently it's time for a renaissance of small tablets. Here is Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7!
It is true that the new Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7 measures almost 9 inches, but its housing dimensions are close to small tablets from years ago. The device has dimensions 211.58 x 125.48 x 8.8 mm and weighs 373 g. The tablet has - as the name suggests - an 8.7-inch LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 5: 3, a resolution of 1340x800 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. The screen has a contrast of 1500: 1, 10-bit colors and a brightness of up to 600 nits. The heart of the tablet is the MediaTek Helio G85 processor (optional with an LTE modem), supported by LPDDR4X + EMMC 5.1 memory in combinations of 4+64, 4+128 and 6+128 GB. The internal memory can be expanded with a microSD card.

The tablet has a minijack socket, two speakers with Dolby Atmos support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and FM radio. It is also equipped with two cameras: 5-megapixel (f/2.2) at the front and 8-megapixel (f/2.0) at the back. Power is provided by a 6650 mAh battery with 18-watt charging. Currently, the tablet is offered in Germany for 150 or 170 euros (depending on the version - 4+64 or 4+128 GB Wi-Fi).
